- Cut and prepare all the ingredients. As for the garlic, grate it into small pieces
- Put oil in a pan to heat.
- Place the fish cuts and allow to fry until golden brown. Turn to cook all the sides
- Add the onions and garlic and allow to cook well.
- Squeeze the lemon juice on the fish and gently stir.

If I make this again I would make the following. It requires simmering the stew well past the point of of cooking the salmon, but it works! The result is a rich, coconut creamy, deeply flavored stew. The salmon is marinated first with lime juice, paprika, and cumin, and then simmered with onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers, in coconut milk. Add a couple spoonfuls of water and crumble in the stock cube.
